I'm currently making a map and I love using mods like the Zelda skills mod and the chisel mod for my Zelda map and I wanted to know if anyone would actually play a map that requires a medium amount of mods?

nahh.... installing mods just to play a map is not really attractive to me... it will be great if you made the stuff in vanilla! That adds some unique gameplay to it and attracts people.
I won't go through the work of downloading 2-3 things just to see if I like a map. Try using command blocks for everything. It may be a challenge, but it is overall better in the end. Good luck.

I love Legend of Zelda, it's in my top 3 for best game series of all time.
I love adventure maps, they are a lot of fun.
I hate installing mods, a good map isn't enough for me to justify installing a bunch of mods.

I dunno, If those mods are easily installed sure.
If it requires me by example to just put everything in the mod folder and install Forge it is easy enough and worth a try.

Definitely,mods just add a certain jena se qua to maps.(well for me at least)
