Please help - dropper party redstone?

Hey! I'm trying to set up a dropper party. I have the basic redstone contraption set up. But there are like 20 dispensers, and I only know how to do it for 4-5 dispensers using the method where you put down a redstone torch, break it, and replace a corner piece of redstone. I need to know how I can connect all of the dispensers together, and when i flick a lever, it starts up all of the dispensers! Thank you so much!

Couldn't this be implemented by just creating a repeating signal with two repeaters and lots of Redstone and dispensers?

I'd do it like this.

The hoppers run into each other so 1 item inside can go into one to the other. The comparator releases a signal to the repeater which sends the signal to the droppers.
Put a lever and when it is turned on, the hopper will be locked and will hold the item into it.
