Redstone Building Ideas

Hey everyone! I am new to planet Minecraft,and I just recently created a account.I have trouble thinking of ideas when it comes to redstone,and I would appreciate it if you guys would give me some Ideas.

I had an idea for a while to create a bit of a mini-game where you have to shoot buttons with bow-and-arrow within a given amount of time to open a door to go to a next level. Would have a 7-seg countdown screen and everything. I know it should be possible to make with redstone-only but I am not skilled enough to build this by myself ;-;

Hi! To be honest,I am not that good with redstone,too.But I built a few redstone creations.I can't remember what they are called,though.

Don't need to be good at Redstone to do it, Of course, this means you need practice, but that's it.
If you're doing Redstone I do suggest going on a server. I do Redsignal (or recently changed to PhrozenCookie). Maybe if you have discord, you can go on the Redsignal discord and we can do Redstone together (What do you have? Java version? PE?).
If you can start posting some Redstone that would be awesome.

P.S. I suggest starting with making stuff compact and on time, like a simple like iron door that open by pressure plate a the same time and doesn't stop you if you're running.
