I disagree, and I'm glad huge-contrast skins exist, but I think there's so much of this:www.planetminecraft.com/skin/robo-apple/
That people who like skins with less contrast have a hard time finding skinners they like.
The reason I like less contrast is because I like it when the design is the focus, not the shading.
But it's still better than Gradient Jobs, Shading Templates, and Noise Shading.
wait we may not be thinking of the same contrast. I'm thinking of the going by 4 increments. you may be thinking of the heavy shading right? if so then i agree i don't like it when you start at like a 100 V and then you drop down to 88V

Not bad for a first shading test. I would love to see you improving with shading and I would like to help out...if you want me to that is. If you would like help with shading, feel free to PM me and I can link you some tutorials and give some tips for you.

Its good, but your should try more of a gradient shading rather than blocky.

Please don't listen to the people that say you need more contrast, the people that like that kind of thing have enough good skinners that don't copy Sugarbun (not saying I don't like that, but there's too many.)

when you say that you aren't really giving him feed back. Also Contrast is never a bad thing and helps people, i used yo be just like you not liking contrast until i realized contrast is everything without it we would have more spam skins, our world would look more flat, and well...boring.

Well, the shading placement is not bad, but I'd say it needs more contrast. I'd also say that you need some more shading on the hair.
