I want to learn how to make hair and eyes like this girl did:

And, is there a skin software for Mac that has little files?

I recomend GIMP.

Yes. I use that and I think I make decent skins... But that is my opinion.
GIMP Is essentially a free, open source (although that probably doesn't matter much to you) version of photoshop. It takes a while to get used to, but it produces better quality skins than any of the aforementioned skin websites.

With A Mac, I Suggest Using Miners Need Cool Shoes, Or Skinedit. For A Tutorial On Skinning, Just Look One Up On Here. Hopefully It Will Come In Handy. Good Luck!

You may have already seen this, but this might help you learn to shade. http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/a-quick-guide-on-how-i-shade-most-of-my-skins/

The pixels aren't any smaller, she just shaded it. Also, you don't need a program to skin, I use http://www.minershoes.com to do my skins. You can try http://www.minecraftskins.com but I thought the editor was a bit confusing. The way she made hair was also using the 'hat' part of the skin, BTW. Hope I helped!!! But if there IS a skinning program for mac, PLEASE inform me! I need it!

If the pixels ARE smaller, it's an HD skin, which I believe you need to patch.

For some reason, the pixels on the other skins are smaller than mine. What is wrong?
