Hello! I am new here and I would like to know how to make a skin. I think it would be fun to make one but I have no idea how....

You click on "skins", and the on "upload my skin!"

There are a number of skin editors available online, or you can also download the .png file and use any image editing program to change it how you like. Just google minecraft skin editor and pick one you like.
