Lost inspiration for skinning? :o

I don't know to be honest.. Whenever I have an idea in my head, I think it's the most epic thing ever.. But then when it comes to making the skin, I find it suddenly the worse. I'm currently working on an Itachi that i'm not to proud of for a request and i've also been making skins that I spend hours on, then I suddenly trash the idea. I really can't come to an conclusion at this point if I want to stop making skins for a little then come back or I don't know.. I'm just really confused at this point now >.>

Just keep going! I have had the same thing happen to me, but not with skinning. You feel like your wasting your time.. But you love doing it. Its a confusing feeling. You're over-thinking the whole thing, you just need to let yourself go.
