HD Skins?

I want to know if any one else think there should be HD Skins (64X-256X)

i think we should keep the regular skins because HD skins would take away from the "blocky" feel of Minecraft.

Well you can make and use them, through texture packs, but I don't think it should be made available normally, as it would cause you to lag a lot when playing on servers.
