Mcmeta Texture Pack Help Wanted
Basically, I have an animated texture for a timer on an iron block texture.

In a certain game, the iron block is there for exactly 60 seconds, and the timer is supposed to count down from 60 to 0 when the iron block appears.
The problem is that the timer starts when the map is loaded, so when the iron block spawns, the timer/animation doesn't start at 60, and starts at when the timer is currently at from when the map is loaded. Therefore, I need to edit the mcmeta to make it so that the animation/timer starts when the iron block is spawned/placed, so that the timer starts at 60 when the iron block is spawned/placed.
Currently, my mcmeta is this:
{
"animation": {
"frametime": 20
}
}
Please help. Thanks!

I know someone who did it with just a texture pack, without command blocks.
How did they do it? You should ask them. Personally, I'd like to know how they did it because it would help me make better resource packs.

Oh, yeah, you cant make it sk that the ticks start at a different time. I didn't know why people were saying it wasn't possibly. Actually, you can get the same effect by using two blocks (one with on frame, on with the other), and using command blocks and a scoreboard, you cam achieve what you are looking for.
not possible, sorry.
The mcmeta is linear to the actual gameticks. So you can't actually not make the mcmeta linear to when the block has been placed, except if you make a mod I think
