I've never edited a texture pack before and if anyone would be willing to help me understand how the process works I'd be very grateful. What I wish to do is simply alter or remove the leave textures from my current texture pack. The leaves vary in color and design which effects most custom built trees in peoples projects which can be a bit frustrating. If anyone is interested in helping a follow Minecraft player in need please feel free to leave any sort of contact information. Thank you for time.

I have tried doing this but what happens is that the texture that signifies there is no texture for that specific block appears. Shouldn't the default leaves come in and replace the ones I removed?
