Worst Blocks In Minecraft
As a builder, I personally have a grudge against some of the blocks in minecraft. So, I decided to make a texture pack that gets rid of the worst blocks in the game and either replaces them with something completely different, or make them better versions of themselves. Please reply with the blocks you think are the worst, blocks you want to be added, and ways to improve existing blocks.

add a stucco-like block. basically i just want something with that color, thats smooth like clay.
I'm assuming this is just for building in Creative mode, and not making survival mode make sense. In that case, try changing plain terracotta (hardened clay) to something else, as we already have 16 separate colored variants of it.
Thanks for your suggestions! I'll make the plain terracotta into stucco.
Any more suggestions? There's still a lot of blocks left!

smooth diorite, granite, and andesite. They should be bricks!

I jus thought of a whole list of things that should be changed.
change glass to be smoother and darker, since it's too see-through, and sucks for modern building.
Change snow to be smoother and whiter, because with the bluish tint it's not good for building.
Also make endstone bricks smoother, because they're too rough.
Turn nether brick into a black stone brick, something like the brick in this picture. And also you should make obsidian look like the the stone in the top of the picture.
And last but not least, you should smooth out andesite, granite, and diorite, because the un-polished version is too rough to be good for building.

Diamond, emerald, and gold blocks are pretty useless for building in most cases. Maybe they could be normal building blocks, accented with the precious resource in question?
Jungle wood is a rather peculiar color, whose only previous use of being a reddish wood texture was taken over by the superior acacia wood. I don't know what on earth you'd do with it, but something would be nice.

You could always change jungle wood to cherry wood.
Also, it would be nice to see mob spawners look a bit more like cages.

i think you should make the diamond block, gold block, and emerald block to some pretty house decor blocks. <3

I think I'm going to make redstone almost invisible. And the idea to change jungle wood to cherry wood is pretty neat, think I'll add that too. And make the ore blocks better for building floors and stuff.
