Mythrur city was a peaceful place. The police did their job very well, and there had not been a bank robbery, a murder, even a car crash for 50 years. Then one day, the poice simply dissapered. No flashes of light. No smoke. Nothing. The criminals cells in prison had been opened. It almost seemed that a ghost had done everything. Crime was unstoppable. The criminals could get their hands on any weapon possible, and could shoot or kill anyone they took a dislike to. But one day a force was founded, to bring peace back to Mythrur. The PFMs. The Peace For Mythrurs. They began peacefully, doing protests. Well that didnt work. They had to resort to violence. Slowly, the crime wave began to lessen. But not forever. Then it was continous repetition. The crimes went up and down, up and down, up and down. This is where our story begins.

I would recommend at least 6-7 lines in a backstory as they are the bulk of an app

Well compare this guy Born into a family where most of the members are in the Army. Very popular and rich. Trained as a soldier and went out to fight for 2 years in Mraq. Got shot in twice and came back when I was 17

Dawn's parents were both doctors. Though they were constantly working, they still found time to be with Dawn. They wanted her to be a doctor as well, and Dawn would sometimes watch as her parents worked. Dawn's mother mainly taught her how to create and use medicine. Her father taught her how to be calm and how to handle people who aren't calm.
As Dawn got older, she became a more experienced doctor. She blew her parent's minds by creating new medicines. These medicines were more effective and most importantly, easier to make. More common ingredients were used, so medicines were made quickly.
Out of what seemed to be random, a bunch of dying people cane to be treated. There was no way to stop them from dying, no matter what they did. Dawn soon learned all about the stones, and was annoyed that she always needed one. She tried many different ways to wear it. First a necklace, then a ring, a hat, but it was all just didn't fit her. She then saw someone that had it in a headband, and he loved it in that way.
Remembering to wear the headband all the time was quite annoying at times. She wished she didn't have to have it, then she heard about the castle. It sounded like a wonderful idea, so she packed a few items and signed up. Though her parents didn't want her to do it. It would risk her life, and they needed an extra hand. This didn't stop Dawn though.
I would recommend at least 6-7 lines in a backstory as they are the bulk of an app

Backstory:
Being the older brother of Thomson Lee Jean, he was very similar to him, he had a remarkable talent for sneaking but, unlike Thomson he was good at teamwork, at a young age, he would often form gangs inside of school and would often truant and bully other students, on the weekends he would often shoplift from his local newsagent, but being good at sneaking he would never get caught.
As he grew older though the crimes became more serious and he was being more careful, when one day he murdered one of his students, the police were too shocked to report this to the public and so kept it a secret; locking him inside a high security prison for the rest of his life.
Suddenly one day the doors to his cell were wide open, he did not know why or how but assumed it was a trap so he waited for a week, when suddenly he heard a noise; poking his head around the wall he noticed a civilian was wandering around the cells, Jock took this as a chance to get out of here and quickly picked up a stray bit of pipe and killed the civilian.
A while later he reformed his gang, it became known as the Brotherhood; each member was known as a family member and had protection, all who opposed them were killed, tortured or locked up in a room to starve to death.
Weapon: He uses a knife that can be used to create a spark if rubbed hard enough against flint or wood.

Me too. I think of RPs as stories with lots of authors, and if the premise is weak, it's up to the author to reinforce it. Perfect RPs do not exist. It's up to the people on the RP to make it perfect.

Backstory: Jacob had it all. His dad was a policeman, and his mom stayed at home. He never made any disturbances, he was just average.
But then the city went down. His father disappeared, his mother had a heart attack and was in the hospital. He was broke. He started stealing when he was 16. At frist it was just money, but then he stole more. He knew he was no longer accepted by his father, if he was even alive. He ran away from home, and here we are.
