Ok, I'll explain.
The good guys have more strength than the bad guys, but the bad guys have their mind controlled army and stuff, and the good guys are immune to mind control, so the bad guys can't mind control the good guys, but they can mind control an army, and if one bad guy is defeated, all the people that the guy was controlling ate back to normal, until another bad guy controls them. So the good guys are stronger than the bad guys, but with their army, they have to team up to try to destroy the bad guy, but the bad guys can try to use their army to protect themselves.

Tip: If this was your intent, It is a good idea to put it in the first post to explain it.
Also, It is a good idea for you to make rules so someone doesn't post something like. " Takes out mega laser bomb and blows up earth... "

Then, suddenly, gohKamikaze appeared. He decided to pull a mega laser bomb out of his pocket (which had the storage space of a thousand TARDISes) and throw it at Earth, obliterating everyone in the RP and the galaxy. He chortled as he flew to another galaxy, with the intent to instakill trillions more living things.
This is what can happen without rules and shizz. Best be a tad more specific in your rules section than just 'standard rules', perhaps give some examples as to what these 'standard rules' are? Also, lore helps as well, as does getting potential roleplayers to describe their characters. For a better idea, check the 'roleplay applications' area - there's lots of good-quality roleplays over there that will give you an idea about how to plan and what standards you should have.
