Find enough space in the room... Put the tower on the floor and the monitor on the table. That`s what I did and I when I first thought there won`t be space for a desktop.
Personally I prefer laptop for portability as I have to move around a lot and my room is tiny. Thankfully I managed to get a laptop that allows me swap parts and upgrade stuff like the GPU (Which is very good for a laptop )
What ever you are going to get should be for your personal preference as no one else is going to use it anyway. Just remember to research the product before you buy it.

And I don't recall you being able to buy laptop GPU's.
You can, but they are so hard to find, that it's not worth it. And once you do find them, they cost more than it would be to just build a brand new computer.
(A GTX 880m costed around 800 dollars when it first game out. It was only as fast as a 270x, which costed around 150 dollars.)

In the case of that series of Lenovo laptops, yeah, you can.
Otherwise, I don't think consumers can purchase them.

What laptop do you have? The only laptop that I know of that lets you add in a GPU is a Lenovo one, but that's only to add a second GPU; not to upgrade the current one.

If you don't do the mail-in rebates, this will be a little over $500. After the mail-in rebates, this comes down to the comfortable price of $437.
You can swap out the 750 Ti for an R7 260X if you want (saving you up to $15), but that's up to you.
If you have a spare copy of Windows lying around, you can save $90 and use the copy of Windows you already have.

Building a computer is very simple.

OP, how much are you willing to spend on a computer?

This probably isn't going to be the best build list that can be offered to you, but it's a start.

It's $500... The same price as what you were looking for an All-in-one for. You can save $100, and get it for $400 if you're okay with running Linux instead of Windows.

All-In-One PCs are very expensive and not worth the price, I would build one, you can get a mITX, which is small, and get a better system than what you would get if you got an All in one or a laptop.
Bump
Fill out the questions. If you can put together legoes you can build a computer.

i dont have the time to build one
It will take you 2 hours at most. I think you have that much time.
I wouldn't get an All-In-One PC... I have one and if there's a problem it's very difficult to fix. If you find a good All-In-One PC it will probably be more powerful than a laptop though - just not very future proofed. Hope I helped
You can get a mITX PC that's pretty small. For $500, you will get much better performance with a PC.
I Can? Where From?
You can build one.
^^^^
Just complete this:
What is this computer going to be used for?
List what you will be doing with your computer.
What is your budget?
Include amount and currency.
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter?
Your country lets us know what sites you can order from. If you have a nearby Microcenter they have some great in-store only deals that you can take advantage of.
What is included in the budget?
Things like the tower, the OS, peripherals and monitors.
Will you be overclocking?
Overclocking will require different hardware than a non-overclocking build so we need to know this.
Will you be reusing any parts?
If you are reusing parts list them here.
What OS do you want?
Say which OS you want or say if you already have a copy of one.
Any specific case preferences?
Size, color, etc.
Any other special features that you want in the build?
Stuff like an SSD, large hard drive, RAID, and wifi

i dont have the time to build one nor do i know how
It just takes a 15-30 minute video to learn how to. Building your own computer will save you money.
