Wow. no one even noticed that the CPU and motherboard are incompatible. And please, what ever you do, get a different power supply that is actually reliable. That one is horrible. Here is the best i could do for about 800$.
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks
CPU: Intel Core i5-4430 3.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($194.79 @ DirectCanada)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($44.99 @ Memory Express)
Memory: Corsair XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($76.13 @ DirectCanada)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ NCIX)
Case: Antec One ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ NCIX)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ Memory Express)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($98.79 @ DirectCanada)
Other: EVGA GTX 760 ($259.99)
Total: $829.66
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

I am pretty much behind Randomness on this. The only thing I would look at, it is 1600 Mhz RAM if this will be for gaming, G.Skill is my brand of choice.
He's right about the PSU, EVGA is a great brand, and if anything goes wrong, they will be there for you. That particular power supply is single rail with 40A on that rail, so it should perform perfectly for that computer, however, you may want to pop up a few watts if you plan on adding anything else to it later.

Thanks for taking the time ! and im considering this build now that i see it .

I use the i7-4770K, and I can say it's a lot better for rendering videos. Videos that took my old CPU overnight to render now render in a matter of minutes, even if I have things running in the background.
If you want to keep the price low, the i5 will still work well.

Hmm , think i can get it lower or theres no way unless theres some deals going on ?

Alright , i fixed the build a bit more well changed power and the price before tax is at
900.94
anything to bring it cheaper thats not gonna cause a massive diffrence ?
**Added windows 8, adds 10$ to price. (not added above)

500 W will cut it, but you *might* want to go with 600 W just to be safe for future upgrades.
Also, get Windows 8(.1) instead of Windows 7. Support for Windows 7 will be dropped in less than a year (January 2015).
EDIT: Completely forgot you wanted to do video editing. In that case, I suggest you find a deal on the i7-4770K. I got mine for $200, which was great.

in terms of video editing you want more cores and faster processor, the FX-8350 runs at 4.0 ghz and has 8 cores, and it naturally overclocks to 4.2 ghz while the i5 has 4 cores and does not support overclocking while only going 3.4 ghz
1
Any Intel CPU with a 'K' at the end can be overclocked. For example, the 4670k, 4770k, etc.
Also, on the topic of the speed, and AMD CPU's 4.0 GHz isn't necessarily faster than an Intel's 3.4. This is because the architecture, or the way the CPU is actually made, is different. It's comparing apples to oranges.

500W is good for most builds unless you're SLI/CrossFire-ing or using a really watt-intensive GPU.
1
yeah , im trying to fixup the parts too because im not the greatest with whats compatible , whats not and power.. 500w would be good ?
1
If I were you (and wanted to pay slightly more today to save more later), I'd go with the i5 over the FX-8350.
1
Yeah , most likely sticking too it . Any other ideas on how to change this build ? and you think it would work on good towards what im using it for ?

your power is also a little overkill...

TheShadbusherThat RAM is overpriced. CL 10 @1600 MHz and costs $95 CAD? My brother just bought 8 GB of CL 10 ram @1866 MHz for about $70 USD (~$77 CAD).
Here's some cheaper and more responsive RAM.
Rams a bit more because im mostly sticking to places i can go instore to get the items, but i think id rather order this ram seeing as its cheaper.
and also right now in-store in down to under 70$ on sale till tomorrow. hopefully it goes through tomorrow too .

i do tons of gaming and tons of photoshop, but research video stuff

Looking at benchmarks, the FX-8350 is only better than the i5-4670 in two areas: multi-threaded performance and memory-intense applications. And even in those, it's not by much. If that's worth an extra 41 Watts, be my guest (which ends up being about $12 USD more per year at 10 cents per kWh).

swiguy42I would go for an amd processor, I'm using the fx-8350 which has a 9,022 grade on cpubenchmark.net while yours has around 7,000, also its only $200. But thats just my opinion, your graphics card is good (that's the one i'm using)
