Decent Gaming Desktop $5-700?

Would I be able to good a decent gaming desktop with a budget of $500-$700? If not, How much do you think is minimum for a decent one*?
I'm not all that good with technology and specs and stuff, so..
*When I say decent, I obviously don't mean Skyrim at max settings with 100 fps, but probably... able to play Skyrim with playable fps on normal settings.

You can custom build a gaming PC for under $500 (Well, where I am at least) with an AMD FX-6300 6 Core, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD etc. Thats not including a monitor however.

I would look into doing a custom built pc, and buy the parts and assemble it your self. It will save you $$$!

The best one I've found in that price range is this:www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-x51/pd. Of course not the best with a $699 price tag but it will do what I presume you need it to. Besides it may not be the best but hey at least you can have a little customisation and brag you have an Alienware.
Or do what I did (Probably better option) Save up a bit more and builkd one (If you don't know maybe family/friends know how)

Maybe not a Desktop (Most you can get for that is like 3 GB Ram, Dual Core AMD 2.2 GHz, and N-Vidia really outdated)

You may have a little problem finding a good gaming desktop with a good graphics card with that amount, but keep trying.

trust me I looked for a long time, its going to be hard to find a decent and fast running desktop for under $1000
