First PC build
Looking to get high-ultra settings on modern titles with this. Looking for around 60 FPS @ 1080p. Only gaming with this setup, just looking for some input on the parts.

I would recommend getting a i5 or i7 core for gaming. The i3 will struggle. And if possible get quad core, or at least check that it could be upgraded in the future.
Also you can get a GeForce 970 or something like that for a similar price to the Radeon - it'll probably be better. (You could argue this is company preference)

The i5 and i7 are both quad core. The GTX 970 is almost twice as expensive but I have one and it is pretty damn good.
Canada guys, if his budget is what he has this build at, then there is no room for something better.

Changed one thing and saved about $1 lol. Looks about as good as you're going to get if that's around your budget. Feel really bad for you PC guys up there, wonder if it'd be cheaper for you to send the money to someone to build it for you and ship it up there. Then again maybe not haha
It'll run it fine, but if you're in the US then this isn't a good build, but for Canada, their choices are pretty limited without spending big cash.
