Hello PMC peeps, I'm in need of a gaming PC and wondered if any of you delightful peeps could help me come to a conclusion of what I'm gonna buy. As stated in the title my budget is about £400-450 and if any of you could come up with any builds around this budget that would be great. Also I'm not going to go above, it is quite a strict budget so I'd appreciate all the help I can get with it. Thank you in advance.

Do you need an operating system?

If so (upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10):

This build packs a solid i3 processor, which will be fine for running every game out on the market, as well as a GTX 960, a solid mid-range Maxwell card from nVidia that provides solid performance for the price it comes at. The build also packs in 8 gigabytes of RAM and a very efficient 80+ GOLD certification power supply from one of the best power supply manufacturers out there - Super Flower.

This build, using the budget freed up by subtracting the operating system, allows you to upgrade the i3 processor to a solid i5. I also switched out the graphics card for one of AMD's new refresh cards - they should perform much better than nVidia's offerings once Windows 10 comes out, as far as I know. However, if you're concerned still, you can always go back to the GTX 960.

Good luck with your build!
