Guild wars 2 is way more dynamic and has more content for you to play in.
World of Warcraft is more linear and has better grinding mechanics

I'm voting for gw2 seeing as that is the only one of the 2 that hold my attention long enough to actually level all the way to 80 and finish the main story. I've stopped playing active but I occasionally check back to see if there's anything fun going on.

I thought about joining Molten but I sided with Excalibur Wow instead, it's a nice BC server. And I like World of Warcraft much better than I liked Guild Wars 2, for a start there's not a lot of end game content, raids, or other things that I like in a game. Plus WoW is the king of MMORPGs, it's gotten a bit shit nowadays with the addition of pandas, but BC is still a better MMO than anything on the market in my opinion.
I was thinking of joining excalibur WoW but some guy I know gave me some cool launcher for molten which downloaded everything as you played the game.

I've been wanting to play a pay-to-play MMO for a long time since "free" MMO's all have a very pay-to-win atmosphere, but I didn't want to pay monthly because I don't have an income. As soon as I heard that Guild Wars 2 was a one-time payment, I was on board.

I feel it is more customizable for the player. You can level up without having to do quests if you want. The Crafting system is a lot more interesting. The talents like Cooking and Enchanting (I can't remember its name) are much more player focused. Rather than collecting a lot of something and making it over and over again, you can try and figure out different recipes. The combat imo is much better as well I feel. You aren't forced to attack one enemy if you have a gun. Also, the world events are really cool, as they help make you co operate with others who you might not otherwise.

Guild Wars 2. Cause its a one time fee. Pay $50 or so once and you never have to play again. And its just a fun game with AWESOME graphics. Also, any future updates are free. WoW can get very expensive.
