;w; please help I've been trying to get them for the past 3 days. and when ive done it the way i used to for 1.18 the textures turn into json files and I can't figure out what i am doing differently.

I think you have to go into versions, find the 1.19.jar file, open it using 7zip and then drag out the assets folder? That might prevent it from turning everything into .json files. At least it did for me

You can also rename the jar to a .zip and then extract it if you don't have 7Zip
