Hi guys! At the end of this month I will spend nearly €1600 on a new gaming pc.
This will be my 1st time im going to select the parts and assemble them instead of buyig of the shelf. Now ive spen litreraly months doing research so I think this pc will be kickass, but since its this much money (its without pherifirals) I wanted your oppinions.

this will be the parts: pcpartpicker.com/p/2zIkG

Plz let me know what you think, im very interested.
Btw I intentionally didnt get an ssd. If I get one later ill have at least 250gb, but for now id rather use the 200 bucks for my gtx 780 lightning

I want it to be good at evrything, gaming, desktop use and maybe in the near future video editing, so thats why I picked the i7. As for the gpu, the 780 is already very strong, I dont think the 780ti is neccesary and it very epensive. The plan is buying something that is upgradable so ill trow in another 780 or a 770 if im realy short of power(I doub it though).

I wont downgrade litteraly evry piece in my system just to get an extremely op gpu instead of just a very op gpu

for the formfactor, I want cooling, im terified since my laptop fried itself xD. If im going small formfactor it would have ro be rly small like mATX small, but since I wont be transporring it often, ill just go big xD

Edit: ik my psu will be to weak for sli, but since I want a pc now and cant spend even more atm ill just switch that out 2 if I ever do sli.

Drop the i7 4770k unless you are doing anything CPU intensive or applications that utilize HT and multiple cores like Adobe products, CADD, Photo and Video Rendering ect. In your case your not since you are just gaming so an i5 4670k would be an ideal choice and 8GB is more than enough.

This would be my choice. As for the case and motherboard it's all up to you as I myself like small form factor, no performance difference. Might be small but packs POWER

Are you going to use it mainly for gaming? If so, you could go with an i5 and get a 780ti with some of the money you would have spent on an i7.

Either way, though, it looks amazing. Good job OP.

Ill get more ram, just not right away cuz im done waiting xD. Ill get the pherifirals and more ram in 2 more months or so, im doubling it. Also for WOODY: plz dont comment if all you have to say is that im in need of attention. Ik a pc at this prixe will run games, but I wanted to know if I got thebparts rigt in the way that I can take as much advantage of my momey as possible. As for the liquid cooling: my laptop fried itself.... im not taking any risks although I know its overkill plus I might just do an overclock wih my rog series motherboard and unlocked proccesor. The only question is if ill kill my pc whilst doing it or not xD

More RAM you need more RAM. Get atleast 12 gb. 16 gb if you want.
And you don't need the Liquid cooling unless your going to overclock. Which I wouldn't so I would take the liquid cooling off for more RAM. >MY OPINION<.

If it's over $1000 and you're asking how it is, you're fishing for attention. 99.99999% of computers over $1000 should run just about anything without problems.

Maybe he just wants to know for sure that he's getting something good for his money. He's spending more than $1000 which means he's probably making sure everything is set before he buys and spends that kind of money. It's possible hes trying to get attention, but more likely he's trying to get a smarter person's opinion on the topic of computers before he blows a ton of money.

Yeah, if id get an ssd id would be dor my os mainly and maybe some games, and i believe that samsungs 840 evos come with a special program to clone your os to the ssd. As for the price, partpicker sais dollars, but I also calculated the price on a dutch internet store (im dutch) and it came in at 1588 euros and some cents.

its 1600 dollars, not euros. According to PC partpicker.

Most people put there OS on an ssd, but transfering an OS to an SSD can degrade it. Theres ways to do it, but it's pretty hard and you have to know what you are doing. Unless you have 250GB worth of games you want to put on an ssd, then just get a 120Gb one. All they do is make the game boot up faster and make in-game matches load faster (like when the map is loading for a call of duty map). There isn't any game performance boost.

The parts look good though. You did pretty good research. But in my opinion, I think the 780 is a little overkill. A 770 will run anything fine. I guess if you have the money and want to be really future proof, then get the 780.
