Do I keep the GTA 4th of July outfits?

I just bought like 3 of the new gta 4th of july outfits, and I have like 6k left. I was wondering if I keep all that after the update, or if its just like the Christmas update and all my outfits are gone? I'm on PS3 if that means anything

Hi there.The name's Turtwig and I'm a GTA addict.Last year when we got the Independence Day items,we kept a majority;musket,fireworks,firework launcher,Sovereign,The Liberator, and outfits.I think the only thing they took away was the masks, patriotic car upgrades,and the ability to buy ammo for the firework launcher.Any patriotic upgrades you do on your vehicles stay on them.Other than that,the Festive Surprise update removed much more than the Independence Day update.Your money was not wasted.

Why did you spend so much on the outfits if you thought it might be a repeat of whatever happened at Christmas?

well, if you know me, you know I don't think. Plus I don't really care for money, since I'm getting a PS4 soon, and me and my brother will do tons of jobs to get some cash.

If you really want money on GTA online, then you might want to consider getting a PC.
I met a friendly neighborhood "modder" who gladly gave me upwards of $30,000,000 for free yesterday lol. And those people are literally in every session. I've played in about 15 sessions in the past 3 days, and I've met at least two people giving out free money in each of the sessions.
Probably wont be getting that much on the PS4.
(And if you want advice coming from a level 130, doing jobs for money is pointless unless it's a double-money weekend. As of the 1.14 patch, missions barely pay out anything, and every update makes missions pay less and less)

err. I don't want to cheat, plus I'm not really a fan of pc gaming these days. And yea, I understand the lack of money mission provide. But at least a lot of jobs are fun

You didnt get to keep your christmas stuff? I still have mine... Anyway, I never bought anything last july 4th but i would assume you would be able to keep all your clothes. R* may take away the musket (If they put it back in? i havent checked yet) and the fireworks launcher though, they did that last year.

I would assume that you get to keep them. We got to keep the stuff last year, so it might be the same this year.
