I'm in need of people who know about hardware to help me work on a computer project I'm going to be shipping next year. I got a majority of the parts chosen and tested, I just lack a power supply and RAM. Reply if interested or need more information.

I'd be willing to help. PM me if you're interested, I can give you my Skype and we can go from there?

RAM is usually easy to figure out, as most RAM is basically the same thing just made by different companies.

PSUs, on the other hand, are tricky. I suggest using a site like JonnyGuru or another similar power supply review site to base your selection. However, like I said, if you want to talk more in-depth about these things we can talk via Skype and, if you want, I can get you into the official PMC PC Skype Chat.

That is correct. I think I found a goldmine tor RAM to keep prices down (which is good for a promotional period based on RAM alone), raise prices if it catches on after that point. Most of the RAM I can get is from Crucial but yeah I agree with you on that RAM thing, you can't really go bad with RAM sticks. Power supplies are sort of the same way but it's a lot trickier and you really gotta do your research on specific models.

I'm willing to help as well.

About the RAM thing, 53 is right, most ram is honestly made by the same people, then brands stick their heat spreader on it, and call it theirs.

Are you able to elaborate?
Are you making computers and selling them. And then "shipping" (preorders)
And when you say you lack powersupply and ram? Don't have?
Power supply:
You may want to find the usage of all your components and choose the next Wattage up, for future upgrades.

Ram:
How many pins does your Motherboard have in its Ram slots and is it ddr3. Does the memory stick have 240 pins ect.

So If I missed anything please tell me?

Yes. Nothing with preorders yet as I'm doing prototyping first. I got the motherboard and the CPU figured out.

I want it to be something for daily usage as a learning platform to get into computer programming and all that neat stuff. I want to use 64 bit dual core hardware. The wattage is around 100 on a max load, but I think 200 watts to be on the safe side.

I use 240 pin DDR3 and the motherboard has a max capability of 16GB, which is sort of overkill but I think 2GB should be the default RAM size.
