Here is the list I assembled:
I did NOT use PCPartPicker. I assembled this list by myself.

List:

Graphics Card (GPU): https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1267097&gclid=Cj0KEQjwhvbABRDOp4rahNjh-tMBEiQA0QgTGkAPLkGGNBe-kcOiQ4lIGV1zHqdS7FuHaKZKuEXSyUQaAod68P8HAQ&Q=&ap=y&m=Y&c3api=1876%2C92051677442%2C&is=REG&A=details (Asus GeForce GTX 1060 6GB) $289.99

Processor (CPU):https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1176280-REG/intel_bx80662i76700k_6th_gen_i7_6700k.html (Intel Core i7 6700K 4GHz 8MB) $329.00

Memory (RAM): http://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/memory/fury-ddr4 (Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 16GB (2x8 GB) 2133MHz Black) $110.00

Motherboard: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1273534&gclid=Cj0KEQjwhvbABRDOp4rahNjh-tMBEiQA0QgTGpK9aPOBlKLYQwkUXhuZJKzpRRDk4XKq6yvb-FnLJDsaAufE8P8HAQ&is=REG&ap=y&m=Y&c3api=1876%2C92051677682%2C&A=details&Q= (Asus Z170 Pro LGA1151 ATX) $160.00

Case: https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-CULLINAN-Computer-Liquid-cooling-Pre-installed/dp/B01M6TV6PC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&qid=1478124702&sr=8-1&keywords=rosewill+cullinan%27&linkCode=sl1&tag=randomfrankp-20&linkId=c985f0780cd9036c86d0b726bab48436 (Rosewill Cullinan ATX Mid-Tower) $149.99

Power Supply (PSU): http://www.corsair.com/en-us/rmx-series-rm650x-650-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-psu (Corsair RM6550x 650W Full-Modular) $129.99

Storage: https://www.wdc.com/products/solid-state-drives/wd-blue-ssd.html#WDS100T1B0A (WD Blue 500GB 2.5mm SSD) $149.99

GRAND TOTAL: $1318.96

So, that's it. Feel free to tell me what you think. My budget is $1500 and I still need the CableMod cords for my PSU, a cooler (hopefully water but not dead-set on that) for the CPU and thermal compound (which is cheap), which should set me somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500.

there is no point reviving this thread, it has been dead for 5 months, if the OP had something to say about the pc they would have.

Nice setup will run the majority of existing games at 60fps however go for a cheaper PSU for the same wattage you have a high budget and so I suggest a better GPU perhaps the GTX 1070? And cheaper ram is worth noting that quantity of ram should only be about 70$. As for CPU choice its good everything is good that case is also very good for this budget you will get nice tempatures and it looks really cool!

This is much better for your money, and allows you to overclock unlike the build above.

You can swap out the WD Blue for something like a 4TB HGST NAS drive for about $145, but then your total cost would be around $1400. You could also just skip the hard drive, but I always like to have one to store things like video archives and backups. Since your budget allows it, why not include one?

Some of these were my personal preferences, like the case and cooler, and can be swapped out should you not like them.

That's the PSU I have in my build, it's a lot cheaper and it's a higher wattage. Only difference between mine and yours is that I have cheaper RAM and a 1080 Strix.

Now for cooling, if you don't mind your CPU cooler looking like poop but want good performance and cheap price to maybe upgrade in other departments, get the Hyper 212 EVO. It's super quiet and keeps my 6700k at 20 degrees Celsius idle and not much higher under load, but it looks like poop. Though if you want liquid cooling, there's a bundle on Amazon that comes with the Corsair H115i liquid cooler at $447 USD. It's a nice looking cooler, and that series of liquid coolers are fairly good from what I know of. Also you can usually get away with using the thermal compound that comes with the cooler, it's not great stuff and eventually you will need more actually good compound, but it'll get the job done if you don't want to bother getting any. Just stay away from the expensive "performance" thermal compound, usually it doesn't show much improvement over just normal stuff you'll get on Amazon at relatively cheap prices.

Also fair warning, not sure if your specific motherboard will have this but some Asus boards have really crappy IO plates. My Z-170 A has this cheap thin little flimsy piece of metal with prongs sticking out of it that make motherboard installation a pain to do, and the best thing to do is to usually snip them off. It's not a thing that should turn you down from the board, but just be prepared to bend lots of cheap metal and get frustrated if your board comes with an IO plate like that.

1. you case costs about as much as your motherboard
2. that psu should not be that expensive
3. that ram is really expensive you don't need 2.1ghz ram
4. with extra money saved by that stuff buy a evga 1070
