Mojang: We are removing the grass block, wood blocks, stone blocks, and netherack blocks in 1.21 due to our employees not wanting to put in effort into retexturing the game. We care a lot about our community, and we want to make the experience more pleasant. Have fun trying to beat Minecraft NOW! We are also going to add more combat updates, making the sword cooldown slower and added MORE chat reporting to Java Edition.
