I am looking for an application for my pc so that I can take video footage of Minecraft. Do you know of an app that is free that isn't a bug?

You can stream straight to Twitch with Raptr, not sure about Shadowplay because I have always used AMD GPU and never had to deal with it before.

If you have windows 10, then open the xbox app, go to settings, click the gameDVR tab, find the hotkey for recording, and then open minecraft, and press the hotkey. Completely lagless, and records game sounds completeky on sync. It is what I use and I will never buy another screen recorder.

What GPU do you have, you can use either Raptr or Shadowplay to record gameplay.
Raptr GVR is for AMD but works for Nvidia as well I believe
Shadowplay is for Nvidia only
Both are virtually lagless, you'll notice a 1-5% decrease in fps
