I'm stuck between the M9 and the S6. The M9 has an SD card slot (which I almost need because storage is so overpriced with the S6), the M9 has a better DAC and therefore better audio, and most importantly it DOESN'T have touchwiz. However, the S6 is almost 1.5x as fast in benchmarks, has a higher resolution screen, and slightly longer battery life.
(I don't care about the cameras, construction, heartbeat sensor, fingerprint scanner, or other useless gimmicks)
Now for price difference: the 64 GB S6, which I have to get if I go with Samsung, is around $760, while the M9 is $650 plus 128 GB expandable storage.

No you don't, I think the S6 has better color accuracy. The S6 also has an OLED display so it has far greater contrast. Therefore, the S6 has a better display.
Some people think the S6 looks oversaturated and the M9 more accurate. Now, I've not seen either so I'll judge when I go look at them.

No you don't, I think the S6 has better color accuracy. The S6 also has an OLED display so it has far greater contrast. Therefore, the S6 has a better display.

The Note 4 in my opinion is better than either because it has an SD card slot and a removable battery. It's specs are pretty much equal with the S6 and M9.

I couldn't use a phone that large, I have rather small hands.

I'd still spring for it. I have tiny hands (my brother who's 3 years younger's fingers are about half an inch longer than mine), but I'd still get the Note 4 simply because it has the right combination of specs and features.
Fitting it in my pocket might be a problem, though.

Get The Htc One M9 . The updates for it that are needed will be released soon. Then more programs will take control of the Octa Core processor. Then you have the Boom sound Speakers as well. I have the M9 M7 and Gs6 and I can assure you the M9 is better and will become more powerful over the next few updates. Don't let camera junkies get in your way all The M9 needs is an update and that camera will kick ass. So in My opinion

I mean that the performance of the phone went down the toilet steadily over the next few months. Right now it lags extremely badly with most tasks.
