I want to get a better looking computer, so I decided on this one. Its pretty big, but thats also a good thing for me seeing as I enjoy watching movies on my computer alot. But, would this be fast enough for minecraft to not be laggy at all ?

If you really want a touchscreen, you could build yourself a desktop, and go spend the extra $100-200 on a touchscreen monitor, and save some money, not much though, I think a touchscreen is useless for me but, that depends on what you want to do. If you are an artist or someone like that a touchscreen may be an option for you, but for a gamer, it is just unnecessary and a waste of money.
1
I've never understood the premise of a touchscreen all-in-one. Do they expect you to be bent over your desk putting fingerprints on your desktop PC...? Just get a tower and a monitor if you're going to buy pre-built. You'll save some money, it'll be more powerful, and it'll be much easier to maintain.
1
Its just some gimmicky nonsense to try and get a person to buy it. Similar to how Mice have different dpi and all these features you probably would never need or anything "gaming" oriented really. I mean im sure some people have a use for these features though. Would be pretty badass to do some finger painting right on your monitor

Yet he knows better. I have a Windows 8 computer with no antivirus software or anything remotely related to one and not in my 2 years of using have I got anything like a virus or malware
It is true, as long as your not an idiot you don't get virus.

ME1312David5886purpledinosaur8Eh, I wouldn't get it. The price is mainly so high because of the touch screen. They expect the touch screen to be a big sell, so they neglect some of the other features. I'd recommend getting a Mac. The Mac Mini I use was about $1,300 (including RAM upgrades, now at 16 gigs), but of course you have to buy a monitor. I just use a medium-sized flatscreen TV. Anyway, I have a PC, but I choose not to use it because it SUCKS. I have absolutely no lag with my little Mac. Plus, the Mac will last a lot longer than the PC, and you don't really have to worry about viruses. I download everything and have no virus protection and not a single virus. I've only downloaded a few things on my PC (and I do have virus protection), and have several viruses and lots of malware. Do the smart thing, buy a Mac!
A mac can get Virus' and malware. I dont have an Anti-Virus program on my Windows 7 machine and not once did I get a single piece of malware, you just have to be smart. There are TONS AND TONS of malware for the mac. Plus, Mac? that overpriced underclocked machine! With not getting a mac you save tons of money and you get a more powerful machine!
pssh mac hater ^

Build you own and save 500USD

That PC is overpriced. With that much money, you can build a PC WAY better than that and you can build a PC similar to that for half of that.
1
It would run minecraft, and other applications without problem, but you're basically getting ripped off by buying it. It's over priced for what it has. It's like an alienware, just has fancy shenanigans that they charge for.

Don't have to worry about viruses? That's exactly what who makes them wants you to think.

Do you know what you're talking about?
Ofcourse, if you don't know what the hell you're downloading, you'd get malware.
A Mac is literally a PC but just a different operating system. Your argument is invalid because you're basically saying Mac and PC sucks.
You can get up to 192GB of RAM if you build yourself a custom computer.
Not saying anything bad about macs because I myself love macbooks but I don't think you know what you're saying.
Honestly, this PC you're buying isn't bad if you don't have time or just don't want to build a computer.
You'd get a Core i5 (which is good), 1024 GB of space (You can buy external hard drives for more space). 12-16GB of RAM (didn't read clearly), and a decent graphics card (GTX 730, not the best but it's better than most).

'PC sucks' Wow, did you really just say that? You should maybe get a better pc then?
1
I use a $3,500 PC (1 and a half years old) and a $2,000 brand-new iMac.
PC is better for gaming hands down, but Mac is a far superior working computer, and I ONLY use my Mac when I'm programming. They're both computers people... Just avoid all this by building your own very good pc, then getting both OS on it. Problem solved, you have two in one PC.

I'm afraid you just opened yourself up to an extreme amount of backlash from the PC community..

Definitely not! With $1400, you could build yourself a very decent computer more than enough for Minecraft and even Battlefield 4!
1
For ~$600 you can make a computer that can max out Minecraft, BF 4, Ghosts, Skyrim, etc. and still get 45-60 fps... Do the smart thing, BUILD A PC!!!!
1
It's not that good, and that's a ridiculous price. You could find a better one for probably half that.
1
It's alright, but, unless you REALLY wanted an all-in-one, you could get a MUCH better desktop for that price range.

my imac 21" costs less than that :U
