Edit: Don't get a laptop for gaming either, You think you'll want one, But in the long run you wont. believe me, Made the same exact mistake.

This.

As a person buying a gaming laptop, this. At least make sure you buy something that has longevity, so you're not in the hole if it breaks early (because they're fairly prone to that). If you need to stay mobile like me, then go for it, but take the advice of others and go with a desktop (preferably built by you) instead.

Now, if you plan on maximum settings and shaders, you're definitely needing a better laptop in the $1000 range (remember, laptops are often more expensive than desktop for same performance)

The Inspiron 7559 starts at $800 and can play Minecraft at max settings with shaders and get 60 FPS or more.

Pi Time ProductionsAtleast the graphics aren't integrated into the cpu, so it shouldn't be that crappy

The laptop OP is asking about does indeed have integrated graphics.

If I were you, I would go with this laptop if you are going with a budget computer. https://www.amazon.com/Asus-X540LA-SI30 ... sus+laptop I use this one for my couch playing lol. Works great with minecraft, League of Legends (80fps at medium-high settings). Great PC laptop! 10/10 would recommend!

Meh, not really. Laptops are generally not good with space and video card consuming programs, and video games to that the best. Consider buying a computer instead, or keep the laptop for some of those little browser games like the ".io" games.

OP, are you looking at laptops because you need something portable, or because you don't have room for a full desktop?

I have built my computer for about 400$, and it can run minecraft and many other games (League, Dota 2, TF2) At a decent 60FPS, so if you're on a budget, and not looking just for a laptop, I would suggest using newegg or something to build a budget gaming desktop.

Currently the best gaming laptop for the money is the Dell Inspiron 7559. For $800, you get a quad-core i5, 4GB GTX 960M, 8GB RAM, 1TB SSHD (though it's pretty slow), 1080p screen, backlit keyboard, and more. If you don't have $800 to spend, look for a laptop with at least a GTX 950M, which has the same amount of cores as the 960M, but is clocked to be about 15% slower.

This isn't that bad for $600: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Nitro-VN7-5 ... s=gtx+950m

Yeah it can run games that you want at low and medium settings. So basically not that much lag around those settings. This is a laptop that can basically run games at low settings and not crash. If you have more money, upgrade it to something better. But if you don't just use that one.

If you want a budget gaming computer, Your going to need to increase your budget to atleast $1000.

If you want to see a decent pc that runs most games well for around that price range, Look up Frankieonpcin1080p's video

Edit: Don't get a laptop for gaming either, You think you'll want one, But in the long run you wont. believe me, Made the same exact mistake.

Are you seriously expecting a $400 laptop to be good at gaming? A decent laptop costs about $900.

No, this computer ain't gonna cut it.

By decent he meant "good". I thought that was obvious. The more money you spend means the better the components are. That's how shopping works. This guy's asking for a GOOD GAMING LAPTOP, and what you described is just decent. For a good one, the price range is definitely about 800$ or above

That must be a joke. A decent laptop costs about $500.

Anyways, a while back I got a laptop for $300 and with optifine and med settings I got 50-60 fps.
