What is a good screen and outer recorder for mac?

Help! I have been looking for a screen recorder with pause and a recorder that records my face ON A MAC!!!! I just need the screen recorder but if it had the feature to record my face aswell I will be as happy as can be thanks anyway. And QuickTime isn't a very useful recording system because it doesn't have a pausing feature .

You can always download Overwolf from here, and use their recording program, that automatically comes with the program. It is free, HD, and you keep your FPS.

I use obs for my game recording. it works good and has damn good audio abilities even without a mic my voice is very clear on the videos. i cant help with the face part cause i dont record myself as i play. but i know you can do it through photobooth and in editing you can shrink the video and put it into your video that way. hope this helps in some way.

I've been gaming and recording on my Mac for 2 years now and have run in to quite a few good and bad ones. The best one by far is Screenflow. It allows you to record your face and gameplay at the same time, pause your recording, and my favorite feature is it comes with a full editor that I like a lot better than iMovie. It is $99 but I managed to pick up my copy for $60 on a sale. Most likely a Christmas sale will come up soon and you can grab it then.

Thanks DesniPvp_TK at least someone understands me... I ask if someone knows a program that shows face and pauses and they say QuickTime and QuickTime doesn't have any of those features :/ but thanks again if there is anymore recorders for mac tell me plz

You can record face, add audio, remove audio, pause, set keybinds, etc etc.
It's QuickTime + iMovie in one
Or they could stop the video, then put it together in editing. Thats what I do in my videos.
