I cant upload a file please help

Hello crafters of minecraftia. I have a problem. I have a file i want to upload to planetminecraft but i dont know how (im using a mac) i have the file and he map but it is a folder and not a zip. I need to know how to change it into a zip and then upload it. If you guys can hep i will be so happy thanks very much guys

If anyone is kind enough to help me, My Planet Minecraft account is messed up. I can't upload ANYTHING. Not even photos, I cant upload servers, and my chat room is always down! What's happening?
If you have Winrar or 7-zip right click and press "Add to archive" And you will be able to change the file to a .zip or .rar, I don't use mac so it may be different. Or you could right click on your desktop and go to "New" and press .rar and it will add an empty .rar file to your desktop just click and drag the file into there.
After all that you're going to need to find a host site for the files you want people to download.

Or just use dropbox, it's sooooo much better than a hosting site.
