like I don't understand anything about creating mods and maps, the only thing I understand how to do is skinning, can anybody teach me how to do other stuff?

Creating mods require you to problem solve. If you can problem solve, creating mods wont be much of a problem. Installing the environment required to creating modded stuff is found in youtube videos.
In the creation of maps, the building part requires you to have creativity. The physical content you put in the world may need problem solving. I suggest you play a few maps and get a feel of it.
Other than that, honing your skills should be as simple as jolly cooperation

Here, fine. Mix blocks with other similar blocks that mix up texture (stone + gravel + cobblestone + andesite), (grass + green terracotta + green concrete powder) Add depth to your builds (Make it more 3d), (Buttons and pressure plates on paths, pillars put out more on wooden builds, Glass panes used instead of glass blocks), And finally, watch Grian tutorials
