I found out about it in quite a bit of an odd way.

It all started when i was watching one of those (really crappy) top 10 scariest videogame countdowns, and i had scrolled down through the comments. Several people had said: "Where the hell is Minecraft?!". So i decided i should search for Minecraft... So after i searched it, i went to the Minecraft tutorial "How to survive your first night" Done by paulsoaresjr (REALLY good channel, highly recommend watching his stuff.). So then i was thinking: "Did i search that correctly?" So i watched the video, and i started thinking: "This actually looks pretty darn cool!". I then watched several of his other tutorials, and about a week later, i had a brand Miencraft account and i was itching to play...

And that kids is how i started playing Minecraft! Now go back home to your parents... Or maybe not.. You could stay here with me...

My friend told me about MC, i played a cracked version he had, then bought the game for real.

I found out from one of my friends. Belive it or not, he has yet to buy the game!

I was Team Fortress 2 trading and everyone talked about it, I decided to look it up... got the illegal vesion at first then I decided to get the full version... non-stop crafting since then... but that is why we are all on minecraft... cause the joy of the game and besides, who here isn't a nerd? 4 life!

saw it on the front page of youtube and it was a lets play, laughed at the guy for being so hyper seeing clay on the shore. Etched up my curiosity and bought the game.

I heard about it for a few months before breaking down and actually looking it up. I thought it looked stupid, but I played Creative and thought it was fun. I found the wiki and read around a bit and thought it sounded more fun than creative.

Then I kept trying to buy it but it wouldn't let me, so I wired my mother some money and had her buy me a gift code. It worked for her.

I don't remember exactly when it was but I know it was already in the beta. I think Beta 1.2 is a safe guess.

So before Minecraft, I used to play a game by the name of Sherwood Dungeon. I had overheard several players on the clan that I was on about different items and such that they had made on Minecraft. In curiosity, I used Google to figure out what it was, and viola! I'm here...

My cousin was playing it and he let me play it,although since I was a noob at the time he made me get killed by Creepers all the time,It's amazing how you go from knowing nothing about minecraft,just breaking a bunch of blocks and being confused,then going to knowing everything about the game.

My brother said it was better then the games I was playing.
We bought Minecraft, and I got addicted.
He got bored (idk how), and started playing TF2.
Now playing Skyrim.

I still have this image of a colder old house I lived in, wiht my mac where I would just watch him do these videos for hours. It made me so happy.

I was snooping and I saw my brother playing it. Then i thought the game was pretty cool so my brother gave me his account details and I started liking the game. A month or 2 later me gave me a minecraft account for an early christmas gift (he wanted to buy it in Alpha and it was about to turn beta) Thats how i got minecraft

I was inspired by a man on youtube, idk whats his name..but when he was mining and found ores I was like "What is that.." but nowadays i know alot about minecraft so...lol
