Do you want to really tie yourself to just Youtube? From a branding perspective it's unfeasible to consign yourself to one platform... So I'd say XD is better, but I think there are even better alternatives.

YT stands for youtube, but generally only people who don't actually know how to be a youtuber put that in their name. I suggest not ending your name with anything like that and just picking a cool or meaningful name.

If someone has your username then you could add YT, Real, etc. but if the username isn't taken, don't add YT or anything
