Lucid Dreams
I am really interested in lucid dreaming, which is basically knowing you're in a dream and being able to control it. I want to try it! So here I'm gonna post how I'm doing.
How I'm gonna try to do it is...
I'm going to make a dream diary, and constantly ask myself am I in a dream during the day. Then when I go to bed, I will count down from 100, and after every number I will say, I am dreaming.
It would be really cool if you guys could try this with me, to get a little support, and maybe we could start a club!

I've had one of these before. I flew around my house a few times, owned gamestop and microsoft, then it ended. I actually hate lucid dreams, because you have to wake up eventually. But imagine the possibilities if we could MAKE somone start a lucid dream, and stay in it for the rest of their lives. It would be an artificial heaven.
(or hell if you're sadistic)

Everything you see in a dream is something/something's that you've seen in your life. Now lucid dreaming is pretty unstable and can turn to a "nightmare" in a second. Also you would not be able to gain new experiences but only experience things that you have already done. It would be a boring life in fact. One other fact is that dreams go in hour long periods which means always lucid dreaming would be a confusing life full of misconceptions and not always finishing something you have set for.

Hello, I never knew there was actually a name for this, I've had this a few times but I could never do what I wanted to in my dream because as I tried to walk or run my legs got stiffer and stiffer, making me unable to move, but yes I knew I was in a dream and it was very weird!

That's quite common for most people, actually. not being a psychologist or dream interpreter, I can't tell you what it means, but I've had it hunderds of times. Once, My feet just left the ground while I was going no more than 0.5 km/h!

there are other threads about lucid dreaming, where you could get more attention. Also, there is the Academy of Psychology, where you won't just find support but also advise and expertise.

Indeed that's us. We can share many of our knowledge of certain areas in psychology and recently we put out an article about lucid dreaming, how to do it, how it works, ect.
