So, i downloaded the mod and changed a my skin to a mine little pony skin (to see if it worked i was going to make my own after that) then i view it in 3rd person and saw the skin, but it was in the normal player model and not the pony model? halp?

That is odd. The only thing I can think is that you didn't install it right. There is a Modloader and a non-modloader version if that helps.
