Minecraft Mod Help

Hello,i recently started modding minecraft mobs.
since i have almost no knowledge i decided to make a mod pack featuring
diferently textured creepers.
i opened notepad++ and edited the location from where its gonna use the texture.
but when i test the mod,only thing it show is a fully white creeper.i dont know what to do,can anyone help?

override the place where the mobs are kept, i did the same thing with armor, heres what your code should look like (modLoader)
ModLoader.addOverride("/mob/creeper.png, "/mymodfolder/newcreeper.png)
