Just a quick question I was wondering:
If (hypothetically) there were a thread that had been really active, died for about a month or two, then suddenly out of nowhere became super active with a ton of post, would it still be locked for a necro bump?
Nothing like this has happened to me, nor do I know of any thread that's done it, I'm just curious about things like this.

Its really depends. If its still a useful topic that has discussion value most mods would keep it unlocked.
This is what I've seen in my experiences. It tends to vary.
I think I have seen it before. Unless it's something important from the staff, but those are usualy locked anyways.
I'm pretty sure so, yes. I think if any gap between posts passes, like, a month, they just auto-lock it without looking at it.
