I changed the budget to $750, since Canada prices are ridiculously high. I also changed the GPU to a 750 Ti, which is significantly better than the 650 Ti.

Biginuf, you do realize that Intel i5 is meant for builds ranging from $800-$1200, not $500-$700, right?

57r4d, He is in Canada, he doesnt have access to Microcenter, and the items you listed cant be shipped to him from Microcenter. For under $600 he could probably build something with a much better Intel i5 chip, -snip-

That processor FAR from crap, there is a reason so many people recommend it at this range. I gave him that those parts could be shipped from Newegg for 677 USD.

Check your information, and don't be a mindless Intel fanboy. : http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/439/AM ... 4670K.html

A GeForce GTX 650 Ti Video Card can run most games on minimum graphics....

Hmmm daarn you guys are super helpful lol.
Thinking of including the price of the OS.
I don't need extreme FPS. 60 recording would be definatly fine on far.

Argghhh.... Canada prices!!!
BTW 57r4d, it's Canada, so that will be like $750 in Canada.
Anyway, can I up the budget by $100, or is it too strict?

To be honest, this is worth saving up for. It will perform and scale much better than the budget he is suggesting.

57r4dI know this is a little above your budget, but this would be MUCH better than a $500 build.
