Well for one thing you don't just tell a girl you like her and walk away. Its your job to ask her out she will not ask you out(I've done this before) Depending on how old you are I suggest just walking up to her normally and just start like a random conversation that is not awkward or weird. Then when theres a long pause of silence just let her know you think she is pretty and nice and tell her what you think about her a little bit and ask her to go to the movies or something.
