I see anymore threats to hack PMC I'm just going to straight out ban you.

I'm sick of all these hack threats and other people are probably too.

If you have belief of a problem relating a virus on PMC please PM the Global Moderators group or Cyprezz cause making a new topic about it is just going to create chaos.

In other words, I'm going to find him and send him a virus that speeds up his CPU
and GPU till it melts his motherboard, which should take about 15 seconds after
activation.

If you still didn't understand that, I'm going to make his computer melt itself.

that is what makes me believe that its a auto-loader planted by a hacker
I honestly doubt it was hacked and put in, do you even have any thing to believe it came from PMC?

Ok and I'm not saying you're wrong but it could've already infected your computer, or came from a ad on pmc.

i understand that but the likelyhood is verry low because my AVAST! detected it as it downloaded and was able to stop it intime as it started so i know when i got it

EDIT; i know im human and that means im prone to mistakes like everyone else but im 99% sure it came from PMC
the extra 1% leaves room for human error

weather it was chance or a hacker
at least people know how to deal with it if they get it

What it did to me was pop up with a flash player or java update that looked like normal...I didn't even pay attention when I clicked "OK" the first couple times..

ROFL. This is not a virus. The actual virus is the thing they want to download.
It spams your history pages so you can not Alt + Left.
The thing is so damn cheesy because its suppose to be set up like a computer managment page when fucking clearly you see a damn internet window. This is the most obvious rouge ware someone as dumb as a child could avoid.

Malwarebytes and Avast! are good Anti-Virus programs ...

I reccomend them.

Spybot: Search and Destroy helped a lot, as well as Avast Antivirus. I had to do a system re-boot from disc to repair files so I could boot up my computer though, and before that after a while it blocked me out of booting in Safe Mode. =S

What I did was do a quick scan with Spybot (recommended in Safe Mode) which got rid of it all temporarily and then did a re-boot full scan with Avast, so that when I restarted, it would scan everything and delete all problems before the OS loaded and the virus could take effect.

Most likely it's a virus...

PMC Didn't get hacked.

Thanks man, I totally got this exact thing 4 days ago and just barely somehow got rid of it now. I had to go through a lot of crap, I didn't see this post 'till now =_= but think it's finally gone.

The fastest and easiest way to get rid of the virus is to restore your system to a restore point before you got it
if the virus is blocking you from accessing your restore menu restart your PC in safe mode and try again.
if this still doesn't work boot windows from a disk to keep the virus from starting and then restoring
if you don't have any restore points you will have to hope your antivirus can find it for you, otherwise you will need to get a spyware removal program

I accimentally reported the first post because I thought you were telling people to go download the Antivirus 2012 spyware.

But what this guy is saying is true, the program is a virus but can be easily removed. I recommend using Microsoft Security Essentials, direct from the Microsoft website, as it provides pretty decent protection with regular scans and can remove things like this easily. It's also totally free.
