Server owners read this please

Has anybody paid any attention to the number of servers running factions today? I would estimate that 8 or 9 out of 10 are running factions. What the hell is up with that? There are other plug ins out there people. I hate the factions plug in. It has turned minecraft into nothing but a war game. Most kids get on a server, lets make a faction and stay for about a day. You don't know which faction to join because you don't know how long the faction leader will stay with that server. Yes it is the number one plug in in minecraft today, but it has taken minecraft and turned it into something else. Server owners, consider other plug ins please. There are alot of people like me out there who want to play minecraft but not on a faction server.

My friends server uses factions for player protection and its a non griefing server

I have a server thats a creative freebuild with not many players if you guys wanna join msg me im not the owner but im head-admin so msg me for the ip if you want it

most of us have factions because it is one of the most simple ways to protect land

Some servers just have the plugin in there cause mostly everyone likes factions and they mainly focus on other plugins like Survival-Games or their damn spawn. Also if you hate servers having the factions plugin. Like I_Pro_Assassin said, Don't even bother play on faction servers. There's quite a few servers out there which don't have the plugin.

Oh no worries, I dont play them. But have you paid any attention to the number of faction servers? It's taking over the minecraft world. It's getting out of hand. It's very difficult trying to find a server without factions today, at least one that is decent and will actually stay online longer than a week.

Why do you care what other people do on their own servers? If you don't like factions, don't play it.
