The amount of character development both characters had on not only them, but their relationship was amazing. I feel like tearing up everytime I hear, "Komugi, are you still there?"

HACHIKUJI
"Sorry, I bit your tongue." Hachikuji was one of my favorite characters in the show, and seeing her disappear like that with a kiss from Araragi had me crying. ;-;

SAO Spoilers
Sachi from Sword Art Online for me.
The character development and story-telling early in SAO was really good and, as an avid player of MMOs myself, reminded me of people who just play a game because their friends are there. She wasn't a hardcore player and was scared to die, but tried her best because her friends' lives were at stake. On top of that, this is an event that lingers with Kirito for a good bit of the series. Probably one of the most impactful deaths in an anime for me.
