i wish i had a girlfriend....the girl i have been absolutly crazy about for a long time has a boyfriend......i hate it when i see them toghether it makes my chest hurt badly D':
But if i had her i would rent out some of her favourite movies, buy her flowers and chocolate (mmaybe a necklace or a ring or earings) set up my room in a " romantic sorta way u know light up some candles and stuff. Watch some movies and then take her out to my back yard and stare at stars with her.....then boom boom jokes im not totally like that

Yeah, Valentine's Day was kind of created by the Hallmark card company. I'm pretty sure Mother's Day was too. Just more excuses to spend money to get that stupid 'HallMark Moment.'

Mothers day is actually a legitimate celebration steeped in history. It originates from America hundreds of years ago, when the black slaves were allowed a day off to spend time with their mother. Interesting, no?

I thought Valentines Day was on the 21st for two weeks lold. Only just realised it was the 14th 3 days ago.. now I feel derpy.

Let's see, I am going to get up at some ungodly hour of the morning, make him breakfast, send him off to work... crawl back into bed giggling that I can go back to bed, and he can't... text him something naughty while he's trying to work, make dinner for him (and the rest of the family, bummer...) give him the sock monkey I made for him, play video games with him until it's time to go to sleep and then probably do something similar the next day.

Then I got it backwards. I knew one of them was crap, I just could not remember. Really, every 'important' event of the year, no matter it's origins, has been twisted into another big marketing event for those greedy little bald fat guys up in their multi-million dollar penthouses. It's gross, but then again, so is every new repackaging of CoD and yet people still give Actdurrvision their manies. Heh. Valentine's day is most certainly a "give us your money naow" holiday... I actually believe in telling the people you love that you love them ALL the time, not just one day of the year. I also like SHOWING them I love them. (IE: knitting them sock monkeys. Getting up at 6:30am to make him breakfast. Not strangling them when they annoy me.)

Valentines Day what a waste of time got no use for it and its always brought me nothing but bad luck so I'm not doing anything for it nor do I ever intend to do anything on that day.

IMHO, I think valentines day is just another gimmick. Why is there one day for "love", why can't it be any day? Why would you wait for a certain day just to tell someone, or spend time with a loved one...?
