For big mainstream Games like Grand Theft Auto or Fallout I use my PS3 , however sometimes I like to go on my PS2 aswell to play on games.
I mainly play older games ( Like GTA San Andreas ) on my Laptop , since it can't handle newer games and I don't have the money to get a gaming PC.
For handheld gaming , well I never really was into handhelds myself , I have a Game Boy Advance SP with about 4 or 5 games for it , and then I have my DS Lite.

I used to play on my PS3 all the time, but I am slowly morphing into a PC gamer.

PC.
It can be upgraded infinitely (dependent on system), you aren't restricted to certain games (dependent on hardware), they can be fixed easily, and you can get tons free games. On consoles, nearly all games have a price, they generally can't be updated, you are restricted to the brand (e.g. Nintendo consoles won't have SEGA games), and they generally don't last a long time.
