What has happened to RP's?
(if this were a blog that would be the picture)
When i joined this site there were so many original RP's Rabiez had one that i loved, it was probably my first forum RP! There were a few unoriginal ones but now its getting ridiculous. All i see is school RP's and original RP's get shot down faster than a wounded horse. What happened? Did i change or did the forum RP's change?

I have an Rp idea... It's original as far as I'm aware... But all I understand about it is that it involves mecha.... And other awesome stuff...
I honestly don't care for forum/server/whatever RP's at all. Minecraft, in my opinion, is best when you're trying to survive and live in a world with no rules.
Ok, first of all, we are not talking about Minecraft, we are talking about Forum Thread RPs, and second of all, if that's all you want to say, why bother?

Yeah I noticed that school Rp's end up insanely popular but some original idea get's tossed to the bowels of the earth.
I like rp's which have a good chance of romance... But I still enjoy a good old original idea if it takes to my liking.
True. It looked really interesting, and would make a good game, but it kinda restricts imagination, and therefore the heart and soul of RP.
That was an RPG. Its not an RP. Its a Role Playing Game.

i don't like how you have to fill out a form before each battle, i don't like the classes and i don't like how you can just like make us wake up, other than that its all goo-
Adding to this I didn't like the system it ran on, it was a good system but it made me feel to limited in my actions.

I have an original RP (In my signature) with lore and everything, but I guess it wasn't good enough like school rps and stuff to get popular...
RP forum threads have simply been moved to the Forum Games sub-forum (within the Everything Else forum).
No that's not what he means, he's saying it in a way as if asking "What has happened to the good old days of original rp's?"

Not that difficult to create an original idea TBH. Just requires a bit of effort, which most of the RP'ers I've seen don't seem to want to put in.
Well, it's getting harder and harder to make original rps...most of the good ideas are taken.
The pool of users is growing every day. With a bigger pool, the smaller, more homely pools get added to by exess user-water. This dilutes the amount of skill and effort going into RPs.
