The universe would taste like gasses. Then rocks. Then supernovas. Then black holes.

Lol, Hydrogen. In the way you're thinking, I'd say the perfect sensation of everything in the universe; all life forms and matter condensed into one bite; that perfect sensation of your life passing by in an instant, but you're not dying. Get it?

I love how you guys are taking this super seriously, and not even coming close to being accurate. If you were to be able to take a bite out of the universe, you would have to be bigger than the universe. End of. Your half-assed science explanations don't mean diddly. They don't apply.

The enormous difference in pressure mostly equalizes once the air has been sucked out from your lungs. The skin and outer organs are easily strong enough to withstand the remaining pressure keeping the internals of your body dense and limiting ebullism to bubbles in the blood ( which will kill you fairly quick ), some water vapor would evaporate off your skin but it's the hypoxia which will first kill you.

For one, WHY DO I KEEP GETTING THESE DARN ADS?!
Ahem. Has anyone here read the message after defeating the Enderdragon? Well, all things are the universe, so taking a bite of an apple would be like taking a bite out of the universe, so, in conclusion, the universe can taste like anything. P.S. I searched this on ask.com lol. #Endertext

Considering the universe is made of 89% dark matter which you cannot physically bite it would probably taste like empty space. However you wouldn't even be able to bite it, because our blood would boil in space because it has no pressure.
In conclusion, it would actually taste like blood as it climbs up the back of our throat as we die.

Well you really couldn't take a bite because you would die in space with out oxygen but if you could some how take a bite i would think it would taste like anything you wanted to taste like.

Actually hes right:
Chemistry is best defined as that tiny sub-set of physics which deals with well balanced 'reactions' such as reduction, separation, states and phases.
Any talkers about the universe as a whole have necessarily done away with balanced equations, conservation of energy and the like ( ie. eating the universe implies you are not yourself some part of the universe )
Under these conditions the statistically routed discourses like chemistry offer very little and the more natural philosophy's such as astrophysics become the more correct tool.

The universe would taste of everything.

Another valid answer, unless you correctly read the question: "if you took a biteof it Thus your point is also invald

Hydrogen.

I stand corrected, it would most likely taste like hydrogen considering around 90% of the atoms of the universe are hydrogen and the other 9.9% is energy
CHEMISTRY WOOT!
This relates to chemistry in almost no way.
We're talking about the chemical compositions of the universe. Talking of which, we discussed in my chemistry course a couple of weeks ago.

I can give you that

It is unpredictable, eating food is eating the universe and so would be eating Jupiter, all the same we eat the universe all the time daily, we ourselves are the universe. Tasting the universe, which could possible be nearly infinite is impossible to be stated validly. Therefore, every point below besides supporting details to this one are invalid.

Isn't it truly amazing how a blind process of natural selection can drive a species to support the faculties required to consider such a process.
I see it as standing testament to the endlessness of our struggle to apply purpose to our need for adeptness - so that now - while standing upon the surface of everything consequent and while staring out towards the endless impersonal infinity we should ask; can i eat this ?
Personally if the universe was mine for the eating i should have it taste like a bowl of natural fruit.
it's a weird question to be sure,
