Slabs turned 90 degrees

Update to caves and the dimensions. I know that they added End Cities to the End, but it still needs more color. There needs to be many different blocks for the Nether and the End. It would greatly improve gameplay. Also, the caves are too dull and need more ores in them. Also, some ores need to be more common so that caves look more interesting with all the ores. Also, we need the vertical slabs! Thinner walls would also make some builds look better.

A lot of people are going to be thinking about the missed cave update opportunity, and admittedly I'd like to see one too. It's not all that high on my list though. Honestly, what I'd like to see are a few new combat mechanics that make PvP possible while leaving PvE challenging.

More importantly, the nether! It's extremely boring right now! You can fly around on your elytra looking at... the color red. Or orange. I get that it's supposed to be the underworld and all, but geez, make it more interesting! Maybe a new boss, a lot of new blocks, and a bunch of new nether-specific mechanics could be awesome. I realize the game is supposed to be simple enough for anyone to understand but I'd like at least the option to make the nether fun.

I want a Herobrine update where Herobrine is added as a boss mob.

And a jungle update with a jungle village in the trees would be nice too.

I want my flipping vertical slabs already...

I wish they could make mining more interesting, because right now there isn't really any challenge to it. You can either speed mine or go in a straight line. So it would be neat if they added some different mechanics like cave-ins etc.
