We shouldn't consider AI as valid artwork, we should use them rather for inspiration, concept for our real work. AI work isn't yours, it is your request. You ask someone to do something for you.
AI should be avoided, or at the very least, not promoted. It's quite unethical.
not to me
AI in and of itself is unethical, no matter how well you use it or your intentions. I'd suggest reading into the background of AI and the uses of it. There's a lot online.
The AI I'm using isn't some sus thing that you get for free on a shady website. The one's I'm using are Google's Gemini AI, and Microsoft's Copilot/Bing AI image generator.
That's not the problem that Prince Ren is referring to. No currently-available AI is capable of producing original works. AI is trained off of actual, real artists work, and the process of generating an image is basically kit-bashing other peoples' hard work in order to create a quick & free image for consumers while in the process skirting any sort of recognition or compensation that is owed to the involved artists. By using AI as a means to an end (obtaining "high quality" art for "free") instead of treating it as a supplement/inspiration/tool for real artists, you're effectively supporting art theft and encouraging automation to take over the creative job-space, which sucks because expressing yourself creatively is a very human thing that shouldn't be off-loaded to AI.
please don't use ai and instead commission a real artist
I prefer AI, they have nothing else to do. (Also I don't know any artists)
there are many artists in this section of pmc and i'm sure they would be happy to draw something for you in exchange for money:
https://www.planetminecraft.com/forums/communities/artists/
and there are also thousands of artists online, you could try looking up art commissions to find someone's style you enjoy
also, if more and more people use ai, less artists will be able to find work and earn money that they may need for important reasons because everyone will be using ai
artists put lots of effort and love into their work, while it only takes a few moments to put a prompt into ai and generate an image
all in all, ai feels soulless to me

I don't have money.
that's okay, once you find a job you enjoy working at you can get some
I'd also rather get stunning images in a minute for free, than Really good images in a week for 10 bucks
not too fond of ai
Why?

Where are they supposd to be?
Where are they supposd to be?
I'd say Bing so which is pretty epic when it comes to anime and cats ^∆^
I don't see the images :(
Can't see them yet.
By prior experience I've not seen a great deal of technical difference between various engines and the 'winner' seems to vary by image requested. (Perhaps that might be better said as each has different strengths/weaknesses.)
When you get ythe images up, it would be informative to include the prompt from which each was generated.
[If possible also the prompt to which the engine responded (not sure this is readily available). ]
If it's of help the link to IMGUR is https://imgur.com/tos

Dang it. Ugh I hate to do this, but I might have to share the link to an account of mine on a coding website.
You could just post them into a blog and then copy the image from there.
Just save the images and upload them to smthn like Imgbb or Imgur
what images?
Do they not show? They do on my side.
I don’t see them
