I used to play on my PS2 all the time, and on the PS3. I don't really like the Xbox as much as the PS3, And I like the PS4 much better than the Xbox 1. But i do prefer the Xbox controller over the PlayStation controllers, simply because the design is much more sleek and slender.

Obviously i have to note that PC would defeat both of them at the same time, in everything.

I am also a part of the "PC Master Race" theory. However in a fight between Playstation and Xbox... I'd stick with Playstation.
Sony seems to simply do everything right (I'm avoiding the talk about the original PS3 launch). They launch good systems with good promise, and at good price points.
1995 was the first year of E3, and also the first introduction of the original Playstation. Competing against the just announced Sega Saturn that was priced at $400, Sony's Playstation promised a better experience than the Sega Saturn was able to achieve. Then Sony priced the Playstation at $300, and the crowd went wild.
We can see Sony is still doing the right thing, even as the PS4 came out. The Xbone launched policies such as "always on" and super drm. Sony came out and reassured gamers that the future of gaming isn't a hyperlock of DRM. It even forced Microsoft to rethink their policies.
They even finalized the deal by pricing the PS4 just $100 less than the Xbone, and without some camera that the system was "required" to have. Sony has always been above Microsoft. Microsoft is just busy playing catchup.

Xbox1 sucks if you HAVE to have a console go with PlayStation I used to beat my brother at certain games on his PS2 when I was like 5 years old (he probably let me win but still it was fun) I've beaten him on the Sega and the Gamecube too. I love the Gamecube XD Either way, PC all the way bro.

Who else Agrees with PS having easier controller/switches? Ive always found Xbox controllers difficult, even thought Ive owned one for about 7 Months now.

Xbox is better in everyway. When you're paying for live with xbox you pay for security so it doesn't get hacked and is offline for 3 months. Xbox One runs on 5 cores, HD, amazing processing, voice commands, has an amazing controller, and has more games unique to it than PS has.

Xbox is not better in everyway... PS systems (depending on the game or version/console) also have HD, PS has Voice commands, and a lot easier controller than Xbox (In my opinion)

I think that you can't really compare the PS3 and the XBOX360. The next gen systems are alot more different! PS4 is defenitely the more powerfull console.

Definitely PS3/4. The XBox charges you to just connect to your internet? Rip-off. I have just Jailbroken my Xbox and left it. Bought it for £5 anyway lol.

Anyways, I don't really like the Xbone for multiple reasons, including my dislike of Microsoft's products. I like the PS4 a lot better than Xbox One.

I'm pretty sure the only major difference between the ps4 and xbox one is what the design looks like, and what company makes them. Honestly I have yet to see a real advantage between the two. Both require pay for online, both have exceeding graphics, both have similar game setup, and both are expensive. I think when people are choosing between consoles, they are only choosing which designs they prefer and which company they support.

Hardware-wise, they are different. Essentially, the PS4 is more graphically capable than the Xbox One. This is apparent due to Watch Dogs playing at 30fps 792 on the Xbox One and 900p on the PS4 (but 1080p 60fps minimum on PC master race).

Indeed playstation has better graphics than xbox one, but both consoles graphics are still a big improvement from before and both consoles have many advantages and disadvantages that even each other out in the end.

Whilst they certainly are improvements on the previous generation, they certainly aren't that impressive. The 360 and PS3 were pretty impressive for the time as they were pretty much on-par with some top end PCs. Now we have consoles unable to even run games at 1080p 60fps when PCs are running 4k 144fps.

360 is a great platform aside from the fact that they have a 5 year lifespan in most cases.
Not much of Sony fan but PS4 all the way over XBOX ONE.
And you'll save $100s and 100s and 100s of $ if you just stick with a decent $450 PC and upgrade when needed.

Any type of PlayStation console or Xbox console will do, I've had PS2, PS3, and PSVita, also an Xbox One, and over all, the PS was dominate. Titanfall is only on Xbox One and Outlast is only on PS4, so either one is good

If I were to buy one of the two though, I would buy a PS4 simply because some of the things Microsoft initially announced before the releasing the Xbox One put a bad taste in my mouth.

Well, i personally would go with Xbox for some things like halo, but for the online and exclusive games, im gonna go with PS. but for minecraft, PC all the way! except macs.

PC is the master race, however, the PS4 is a decent console. I'd say the PS4 players are the nobles, and the Xbox players are the peasants.

Please don't be a PC elitest. My PC nearly out performs the PS4 and Xbone combined and I still love my consoles.
Anyways, I have PS3 PS4 Xbox360 and XboxOne and out of all of them I like the PS4 the best. though if possible, any single player only games I get I prefer on PC.
